Once again, my brother in faith has led me on a path, completely transforming my thinking, and if you are consistent and love God unreservedly, you too will follow the message of this text.
Over the weekend I consulted my text about Madonna and Lewandowski with a friend of mine in the faith. Since he is more radical than me in some things and is concerned about sanctifying himself and his family, he explained to me the issue of the spirit of competition, which was the reason for writing this text.
Until now, and I myself, I thought that competition was a healthy thing.

Did you know that there is a competitive spirit in Christianity itself? There are lots of groups fighting with each other. Because of this I have been slandered on the internet by two people who have a competitive spirit. One from a salvation forum and the other from a Jesus monopoly.
I, for one, do my own thing and don't look at who has a bigger audience, etc. Until a year ago I could afford to post pastors' teachings because I thought we were in the same group and everything was ok until I stopped agreeing with the teaching. Well, there are many haters among pastors too.

The fact that I have read the NT a number of times gives me the freedom to associate verses and thus look at the world through the filter of God's Word:

I practiced about 5 styles and even 3 years ago I had a great desire to go to Wing Tsun. I like these sports not for the competition, but for the very pleasant state after training, such a crispness. Currently I replace it with running. Almost the same effect.
Yesterday I wrote about the likelihood of top football players participating in Freemasonry. With this knowledge and the fact that it is a competitive spirit, we should quit watching soccer or other competitive sports altogether.

Czy nie słyszy się często u ludzi “ty zawsze chcesz mieć rację”? To jest duch rywalizacji, gdyż nie chodzi o chęć posiadania racji, ale o merytoryczne argumenty.
Duch rywalizacji odbija się czkawką w takich sferach i momentach dnia codziennego, że sprawy sobie nie zdajecie. Innym przykładem jest poruszanie się samochodem po drogach. Wszystko jest dobrze jak jest dobrze. Ale niech tylko ktoś komuś zajedzie, ktoś wyprzedza, a widać czasem “życzliwość”.

Oprócz wygryzania się, pokazanego m.in w filmie z Melem Gibsonem pt “Czego pragną kobiety”, czy z Demi Moore “W sieci”, pracownicy konkurują ze sobą w obrotach. To rodzi często charakter typu “cel uświęca środki”. Stąd tak wiele zawodów i stanowisk, profesji jest niemoralnych jak choćby wspominany na tym blogu bolier room:

Ktoś uzależniony od seksu ma swoją boginię Wenus lub Erosowi. Przypominam, że na prezerwatywy potocznie mówi się lub mawiało “erosy”. Seks dla samego seksu i zobowiązań. Boginią New Age jest Gaja.

Hmmm… nie demonizowałbym aż tak samej rywalizacji, bo jeśli nie towarzyszy jej zazdrość, chora ambicja itp. to może być powodem wzrostu. Gdy słucham ludzi, którzy cytują Pismo z pamięci, znają je dobrze, rozumieją kontekst kulturowy tamtych czasów itp. to mnie motywują do jeszcze lepszego poznawania Słowa i wszystkiego, co jest z nim związane.

bieg po nagrodę zakłada pewną formę rywalizacji, z tym że biegacze podczas zawodów ze sobą nie rozmawiają, nie dotykają się, więc i nie ma miejsca na żadną formę agresji 😀 – tu liczą się wyłącznie umiejętności – i to jest w pewien sposób zdrowa rywalizacja.
Myślę, że i wśród utytułowanych sportowców są skromni ludzie, którzy nie pysznią się z powodu swoich sukcesów, traktując je wyłącznie jako efekt pracy (i to jakiej!), bo i przecież “każda mozolna praca przynosi zysk”(Przyp 14:23). 🙂 błogosławieństw!

Żołnierz i biegacz to pewien symbol – wiadomo. Uczeń Chrystusa ma te same cechy charakteru co dobry sportowiec i dobry żołnierz, ale to nie oznacza, że mamy być żołnierzami czy sportowcami (choć czemuś akurat do nich Paweł się odwołał) Nie oglądam i nigdy nie oglądałem sportu zawodowego i uważam, że to jedynie maszynka do pieniędzy dla korporacji i, bądź co bądź, strata czasu i dla sportowca, i tym bardziej dla widzów. Niemniej jednak szanuję w pewien sposób sportowców, bo ich osiągi są dowodem, że człowiek ma “charakter”, wolę walki i ambicje, które warto by mieli także uczniowie Chrystusa i w ten sposób zabiegali o Chrystusa/ Ducha Świętego z niemniejszą gorliwością.
