Slogans, slogans and more slogans are a component of religiosity.
Let's read this part of Matthew's gospel, where it was both the women who knew Jesus and the disciples in general who expected the same thing as before:
(5) Then the angel spoke and said to the women, "Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus crucified. (6) He is not here, for he rose from the dead, as he said; come, see the place where he lay. (7) And going hasten to tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead, and, behold, he precedes you into Galilee, there you shall see him; behold, I said unto you.
There was Jesus and suddenly there isn't, and so it is with our lives. We think it will go on according to our expectations, but it does not. When we enter into covenant with Jesus we enter into a life of challenge, adventure and dynamism.
There was Jesus and suddenly you have to believe that he is still there even though you can't see him. The Judeans who loved Jesus had just entered a new situation.
Many Bible believers had their lives turned upside down so that the old could die and the new could be born.
Situations that surprise us not only shape our character. They also teach us to trust Jesus.
I remember riding a rollercoaster once. I didn't know it would be so dangerous on the curves....
Ronan Keating once sang that life is like a rollercoaster.
Jesus expects us to accept everything He does in our lives.
But we do exactly as believers what the stabbers do: we want safety, we want control of our lives. Sure we are in charge of our minds and decisions. Just guess Brother Sister, who organizes the circumstances?
Every day is different and introduces us to new experiences. Every day that has passed is in the past and will never be the same.
"Young he doesn't pour wine hold the old farts, Nobody that no does, because the young wine It ferments and expands in volume, so it can burst old"
Jesus loved people but hated religion.
Religion is a routine.
Want to have a relationship with Jesus? Ask Him for leadership in the next day.
"(17) So then, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away, behold, all things have become new." 2 Corinthians 5.
When it comes to living, it's only with Jesus.
I wish you a good new day with Jesus.
I wish you a good new week with Jesus
Praise Jesus.
