We believers are often only superficially believers, and some sometimes religious.
When a problem gets us, God becomes tiny like the Catholic one every December 24.
Why is it that with obstacles God is not there, but when things are good, when things are going well, God is there and we feel strong?
I think one of the reasons is the lack of an educated faith gene :-), and that in turn comes from putting priorities other than Jesus on your schedule.
There will always be something more important: cleaning, shopping, working, cooking, fixing, etc. etc.
Eight hours we sleep, eight hours we work or more, commuting, eating, cleaning and little time remains. But God would have us make an Abel sacrifice. A tithe of his time.
As we know, God does not need our money.
“Do Mr. please earth i to, co ją napełnia, świat i jego mieszkańcy” Ps 24.
But just as tithing of money is a test of faith, tithing of time is a test of whether we can give God at least an hour a day in advance, first thing in the morning. Tithing has the quality of being paid in advance.
Dedicating an hour of your time to Jesus in the morning is to announce to the spiritual world that you are thirsty for God's presence, not worldly activities, and as we know the most practical way to resist evil is to draw near to Jesus.

As we draw near to Jesus, we receive guidance from His breath on how to act. Through word, thought. But first we need to get quiet.
If we have created a marathon for ourselves during the day, there is no chance of quieting down.
I used to admire the people of the so-called Renaissance. Today I admire more people like Jim Hohenberger. A man who settled in the wilderness to walk with God.
