I want to focus on this phrase, "Jesus interrupted him." Jesus wants to do that in your life today. Today! Not when you have finally smitten Him with perfection (because you never will). The good news is that for believers in Jesus Christ, the power of the Holy Spirit is available where He says, "I will break it." Even if it is a deviant heart or some struggle with sin, in His mercy, goodness, and grace, He is doing it now!
Satan's plan is to get you addicted, discouraged, cause you doubt, fear and anxiety. His plan is not just to get you there, but to keep you there. One of the saddest experiences I have as a pastor is when I sit across from people and hear them confess:
"I've been addicted to it for ten years, or fifteen years."
"Ten years ago our son ran away and is not serving God."
"For the past five years, our marriage has been going through a very difficult time. We're about to break up!" And this is repeated all the time.
Here is some good news for all of us today. Jesus not only intercedes, but He looks at that long time when Satan wants to bother you and says: "Enough already. It's time to stop this."
It's time to stop this! It's time you said enough is enough. Satan wants to build weapons - deceptions, plans - and then he wants to use those weapons against you. So we have to be very careful that we don't adopt an attitude of indifference and recklessness. Something like, "Well, Satan has no power. He can't interfere in my life. He can't interfere with what God is doing."
He can stand up to you, can't He? You've experienced it. But the good news is that the Bible says that no weapon coined against you will amount to anything. "No weapon coined against you will avail anything, and to every tongue that speaks against you in judgment you will give the lie." (Isaiah 54:17).
Very apt words and straight to me!
What a day so many wonderful words to stand up and serve.

I have been given so much,the community by the way just from a distance it is so very close to what we have in the Lord.
You know He's there, you feel His presence, He helps, supports, chastises but you can't touch Him.
