Just a few months after starting to issue new ID cards, officials are revisiting the concept of a chip card.
“Aktualnie używany dokument jest wydawany od marca tego roku (tekst z 11.2055). Wówczas rząd równolegle uruchomił w całym kraju System Rejestrów Państwowych (SRP). Wydano już ponad 3 mln dowodów osobistych. Wersja blankietu od początku budzi kontrowersje – głównie dlatego, że zniknął z niej adres zameldowania czy wzór podpisu posiadacza. Pierwotnie zakładano, że nowy dowód będzie miał warstwę elektroniczną w postaci czipa. Pozwalałby on na identyfikację i uwierzytelnianie użytkownika np. przy wszelkich usługach e-administracji czy świadczeń zdrowotnych. Czip ostatecznie się nie pojawił (państwo nie było jeszcze na niego gotowe, więc w praktyce byłby bezużyteczny).
Officials, however, quickly changed their minds and are getting to work on a new version of the basic identity document. The Ministry of Interior has already prepared a draft of an order by the Prime Minister appointing an inter-ministerial team for introducing an electronic layer in the ID card. Its task will be i.a. defining technical, legal and financial conditions, drawing up an action plan and identifying problematic areas in connection with the planned implementation of the new version of the document,

First of all, chips have long been present in ATM and credit cards, and they are not only used to identify the user, but also to transmit data about recent transactions and his whereabouts, drawing power for this operation wirelessly from a network of Wi-Fi routers, gateways located in specially selected, sensitive places such as railway stations, airports, ATMs, ect. There is a video on YT made by Russian services, which have worked out the operation of such cards. We also have smartphones, iPads and other modern means of surveillance. The best proof of this is instant identification of Kajetan's whereabouts.
Exactly, the more objects the more enslaved a person can be. These chips scare me a little, but I trust in Jesus!!! 🙂
In my opinion there is no need to panic, as long as they do not force us to have some kind of a pig under our skin, and even if there are such plans it is still a long way to go, because society is not ready yet, most people would rebel en masse. However, practically everyone carries a phone or a card with a microchip on them every day, so a proof of identity doesn't make much difference.

Nie mam “chip” w dowodzie osobistym. Mam też biometryczny paszport bez “chip”. To zabawne.
