In the Danzig Bible translation, the quote reads as follows:
” (61) Niechże tedy będzie serce wasze doskonałe ku Panu, Bogu naszemu, abyście chodzili w wyrokach jego, a strzegli przykazań jego, jako i dnia dzisiejszego. „
God expects us to work on ourselves, on our hearts, which are often corrupted, and therefore I am to STRIKE like a guardian of God's commandments and statutes.
Current pop culture is lawlessness. Current religions are lawlessness.
Even evangelical churches often reject God's Law as if lawlessness should reign, but these same churches set up their doctrines. They turn it into their law. It gets to the point where Protestants, every denomination has its own Talmud.
We all should have willing hearts to keep God's commandments, and it is impossible to have such a heart without assimilating God's Word.
