A New York Times writer urged the Biden administration on Tuesday to appoint someone to deal with disinformation and domestic extremism.
Kevin Roose, Technology columnist for The Times , writes:
"Several experts I spoke with recommended that the Biden administration create an inter-agency task force to combat disinformation and domestic extremism, headed by someone like " an actual champion. "
One of these experts, Joan Donovan, research director of the Shorenstein Center on Media, Politics and Public Policy at Harvard University, has even suggested that the new administration could appoint "truth commission", similar to the 9/11 Commission, to examine the planning and execution of the January 6 siege of the Capitol.
George Orwell's novel "1984" was a warning about his dystopian vision of a government that will do anything to control the narrative by creating a "Ministry of Truth." Such a suggestion for a "reality-car" shows that Orwell's work seems more relevant than ever.

In our language, evil called good at every level. The Ministry of Health is supposed to make people sick.
I would like to point out that most churches do not teach a biblical diet and say that what is detrimental to our health, i.e. swine, is now sanctified.
Generally, anything can be sanctified whatever you want....
This nativity play with the "attack" on Capitol Hill was intended to do just that - give an excuse to silence the truth.
That's exactly how I felt when the Trump people, (Sneakers) wanted to do a national uprising like the Kosciuszko Uprising, that Trump had his fingers in it, that he was out to drown this freedom movement and it happened.
But Trump's defeat and the disinformation sent out by QAnon - presumably a creation of the intelligence community ( B. Fulford is Jewish) was meant to give a contribution to silence truth seekers. QAnon put a lot of work into ridiculing conspiracy theorists. He has done it masterfully. He has attracted mentally disturbed people to feed even the most naive theories.
Shortly after I ripped Trump's "miracle vaccines" speech, I was texted that it was secret military code for executing Deep State pedophiles.
I wanted to point out that this Deep State theory and QAnon relationship was promoted by a well-known man on the Polish Internet who rejects Paul's letters.
You really have to be careful who you link to.
Either way presumably a ministry of truth will stand and it will not be about the "I have a choice" movement, but about the parties challenging the plandemic.
