A few days ago I advertised on the blog a film with this title, and today my sister in faith Anita, at my request, reviewed it right after the screening.

pozwoliłam sobie napisać recenzję filmu „Przypływ wiary”.
Niebagatelna historia, 12 letniego chłopca z Gwatemali, adoptowanego i mieszkającego z USA, którego rodzice są wyznania protestanckiego. W wyniku zabawy nastolatków na tafli zamarzniętego stawu dochodzi do utonięcia, głównego bohatera ww. filmu. 15 min spędzone pod powierzchnią w lodowatej wodzie, sprawia, że wszelkie próby przeprowadzenia reanimacji, kończą się fiaskiem. Do szpitala przybywa matka chłopca, przyprowadzają ją do sali by się pożegnała, że zmarłym dzieckiem. Ww. zaczyna się modlić wołając, wręcz krzycząc do Ducha Świętego, o pomoc w uratowaniu i ożywieniu dziecka. I tak się dzieje, wraca puls. Niestety lekarze twierdzą, że ww. nie przetrwa nocy, tak się jednak nie staje. Chłopiec żyje, podłączony pod aparaturę podtrzymującą życie. Jego organy przestały działać, płuca są pełne krwi. Lekarze zaznaczają ze nawet jeżeli by się wybudził, będzie tzw. „warzywem”. Tak się jednak nie staje. Nasz wspaniały Wszechmogący Pan ma wobec niego inne plany. Chłopiec wraca nie tylko do życia, ale i do stanu całkowitej sprawności w krótkim czasie. Cud medyczny!
Coming to my impressions: the film plays strongly on emotions, which is typical for American cinema. Intentional dramatization, sometimes unfortunately it starts to sound grotesque... Sometimes you have an impression that you are watching a musical.
And what did I miss most?
I missed the speech about Jesus Christ the most. Yes, at the beginning of the film there are a few sentences about the Son of God, said in a shot. The pastor who delivers the sermon invites a rock band on stage to worship and speaks in a youthful style, or dresses very casually... and pretends to be casually.
The main character's mother is a bitter, mean-spirited grandmother who teases the pastor as she gets the chance.
The end of the video talks about the power of prayer and love and God, but not Jesus...
The overall conclusion is that only love matters and others unite ....
I have mixed feelings after this movie. I definitely prefer the item such as: Switch Survivors, The Most Wonderful Stranger, Trial by Fire, War Room, Do You Really Believe, Resurrected, etc.
Let everyone judge for themselves :)))

As this review by Anita shows, something that was done for the glory of God and Jesus has been transformed into universal love without Jesus, yet it is only in him that we have salvation. Luciano culture will use even such a great event as this miracle for its own purposes. If there was a rapture tomorrow they would probably make a super box office feature film out of it changing the facts and motives of the rapture.
To sum up, cloying religious films should be watched with a distance.

It's a shame, because the story seems like interesting material for a film of this type...
O tym filmie zapomniałam, podobnie jak o „Sprawie Chrystusa”. Dzięki Piotr za przypomnienie.

I thought I would be able to see this movie too but it turns out that it is not as readily available at least as I was browsing that week.
A very interesting and not hasty review. I can add what I have already noticed when advertising the trailer, an actress of very large stature (promoting obesity and female elevation) with a loud voice, without restraint and delicacy, neatly and decently behaving and dressed also not really...
It is the name of Jesus and praying to Him and fulfilling the Law as proof of love and not salvation from the Law of works (as those who run from the Law think) that hurts the world of dark spiritual power. Hence the promotion of healing videos based on a small part of the truth for all things were created by and for Christ.
I thank the Father for the Holy Spirit who always confirms the Word of God. The charismatic movement follows the Spirit and the Word afterwards, although some people oppose this, saying that they should agree with the Word, but the Law of God, the Decalogue, they do not take it as a whole yet, and those who have already taken it are treated as fallen from grace. Much deception comes by the spirit of god.

In the Word it is clear that prayer and fasting are combined, so it is appropriate to use them from time to time and even more often if necessary, but not to go to extremes?
I suppose they chose this actress because the real mother of the film's main character is also a woman of considerable size, which can be seen at the end of the film, where they show real photos of the boy's family and friends.
