Biblical Christians. THE TRUTH FOR THE FOLLOWERS OF JESUS CHRIST "Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."

On what day did Jesus die?

While writing a text about the Passover holiday for a few days, I came across a chronology of events before Jesus' death and expanded the text a bit, which I post below.

For clarification. At the beginning of spring, when it is Passover, day and night last about 12 hours. The biblical day is 12 hours long and begins at dawn about 6 o'clock in the morning (Beginning of the first biblical hour) and ends at 6 o'clock, or 6 o'clock in the evening (12th biblical hour). Noon is the 6th biblical hour;

- Jesus in Bethany (John 12:1)

SUNDAY (10 Nisan)
- The triumphal entry into Jerusalem (Matt 21:5, 12, 17; Mar 11:7, 11; Luk 19:28)

  1. Well, that's it 🙂 .

  2. Peter. Thank you for the topic. Mega important for all of us. However, I have a question. But wasn't Thursday the day of the passion of the Lord Jesus. Luke 24.19 He asked them: "What is this?" They answered Him, "What happened to Jesus the Nazarene, who was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people; how the chief priests and our leaders delivered Him up to death and crucified Him. And we expected that He was just about to deliver Israel. Yes, and after all this, today is the third day that it has happened. Moreover some of our women frightened us: they were at the tomb in the morning, and not finding His body, they returned and told that they had had a vision of angels who assured them that He was alive. That Saturday was the great Sabbath - the great double Sabbath as the seventh day of the week and the feast of unleavened bread, i.e., 2 in 1 John 19.31. ?????
