In contrast, throwing oneself from a height led to the suicide deaths of 344 people, 100 people threw themselves under a moving vehicle, 71 self-harmed, and 70 shot themselves. Sixty-six deaths were attributed to taking sleeping pills, and 65 people took their own lives by drowning.
