Pinterest: 'anti-abortion information is harmful and misinformation'

 

 

 

The well-known social media site Pinterest, designed to collect and organize collected visuals, has blocked the anti-abortion group Live Action.

 

 

Pinterest suggests that the anti-abortion group operates with "harmful misinformation" that "can have immediate detrimental health effects."

Alison Centofante, director at Live Action, announced the censorship via Twitter:

@Pinterest seems to have deliberately added "http://LiveAction.org" to the list of blocked porn sites.

In its Statement, Pintreste informed Live Action that its website had been "permanently suspended because its content violated our disinformation policies."
