Truth in the end times. Biblical Christians.

Biblical Christians. THE TRUTH FOR THE FOLLOWERS OF JESUS CHRIST "Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."

What's your name?

As we know from the Bible, each of us will be given a new name, which we will get on a white pebble. To everyone who wins God will give a new name....

Jesus Christ - to the victor I will give a white pebble, and on the pebble a new name written.

But for now we live on earth, though many would like to be with God already.

W kulturze hebrajskiej, nie mylić z żydowską, imię oznaczało charakter. Często to Bóg nadawał imię. Tak było w przypadku Izaaka. W związku z niedowiarstwem matki Izaaka Sary, która również miała imię nadane od Boga, jej syn miał się nazywać tak, jak jej reakcja na ciążę w podeszłym wieku – śmiech.

hebr. יִצְחָק Jic’chak – „śmiech”

Innym mniej ciekawym imieniem był Jabes, co oznacza z hebrajskiego (Oseb) “ból”.

Can you imagine how in those days other children would behave towards such children in the yard? In a Krakow field :-).

Graja w pilkę, a tu ktoś krzyczy, Ty śmiech podaj do bóla. Śmiech podaje piłkę do Bóla i strzela gola bramkarzowi Czerwonych (Edomitów) od hebrajskiego “admoni”.

The Edomites were communists, precursors of the sickle and hammer. Their deity was Milkom (Moloch).

God himself has many names. Only in Isaiah is it written of such names as the Awesome Counselor, the Mighty God, the Prince of Peace, the Eternal Father.

And much more:

But this entry is meant to be different.

I would like you to determine for yourself what your name is based on your character after being born again.

I know this will be difficult for some, and if so, ask your fellow believers what name they would give you.

I know that some people probably feel unnecessarily condemned, but each of us has some gifts from God.

My suggestions: Prayer Warrior, Intercessor, Joy Bee, Warm Blanket, Whisperer(s), Ponderer, Caregiver, Keeper of the Fire, etc. etc.

🙂

I invite you to play privately, which will help you discover your calling as well.

  2. Ale ciekawa notka…

  3. In ancient times, a white pebble with a new name was given to a slave upon his release.
This is a beautiful metaphor for the change in our state/character (thus our name) after accepting the salvation offered to us by the Lord Jesus.

Without an engraved name, it signified a verdict of acquittal for the accused, and in sporting competitions it was given to the winner.

    1. Oooo very interesting. I didn't know
