" Take not my soul with sinners, And my life with criminals!" Psalm 26.
How much do we lack to David? We can't even compare with him, but he asked God not to take him along with sinners. Do we have such a Fear of God today? Jesus portrayed as the one who covers every sin has become, for many, not a ransom but cheap grace. Many of us behave like Daddy's spoiled little boy, who whatever he does, he will cover up with the blood of Jesus. This is true up to a point.
"If we confess our sins, God is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness." 1 John 9.
However, sins differ into fixed (living in sin) and random. We cannot live in fixed sin. David and no man of God ever lived in fixed sin, and God did not look at it. The Lord Jesus came into the world not only to save us from the death of the second, but also to give us grace to fight against our sin. It is just that we must hate that sin. Jesus will never remove the sin that we love. It is IMPOSSIBLE. Jesus respects our will. If we love sin and live in it, we are just going to end up like the people in Psalm 26. This is the most distressing truth:
Christians can die with the criminals.
Not everyone who says to me Lord, Lord will enter....
By looking at sin in this way, we may be able to hate it.
David grieved. The great king grieved to God:
" Their hands are stained with crime, And their right hand is full of bribery. (11) But I walk in innocence, Deliver me and be merciful to me:'
As if he were saying: look Lord, I don't do like them, I don't lie, I don't slander, I don't smoke cigarettes, I don't get high, I am kind to my neighbor - I am innocent. Lord save me and be merciful to me. This is the man we should take example from.
Very nice text 🙂
Our dear Satanists love the Bible and know how important it is in the life of every mammal 🙂

I wrote, half-jokingly and half-seriously, for a Sabbath weekend, after the stress of a whole week at work.
Nergal, quote: "I regularly read the Bible", well no, I'm about to lie down laughing. They read the bible after they want to know God's plans and thwart him 🙂
Peter, this would make a good article for the Truth Detective
