Yesterday I wrote a text posting an entire chapter from Ezekiel just to get people thinking. A simple question and there was supposed to be a simple answer. However, several people wrote almost an essay on the invalidity of the law when I asked:
Which of these laws, or actually sins, that I have prescribed below are still abominable to God? Did the Lord Jesus ever explicitly say to disobey some of them?
-You disrespect your father and mother
-orphans and widows are being harmed
-slander,
- the father's nakedness is exposed,
-communing with a woman in her state of impurity!
- commits an abomination with his neighbor's wife
-Disregard my holiness, you desecrate my Sabbaths.
-rapes his sister, his father's daughter, with you.
-take bribes for bloodshed.
- do not distinguish between the holy and the common, and do not instruct about what is unclean and what is clean.
-oppress the poor and the poor
Of course it was a provocation. To my great surprise, a regular reader wrote that since we are not under the law, it is okay to have intercourse during monthly bleeding. This stunned me completely. I decided to create a controversial meme for this purpose:
Of course, the common sense approach on the subject of keeping God's law is simple and boils down to one thing:
Through the Holy Spirit dwelling in us, God leads us into the Law, that is, based on Ezekiel:
Respect father and mother, don't be a slanderer, don't have intercourse while a woman is bleeding. Itd etc.
The difference is that previously the Israelites did it under duress, and now Christians do it by "their own" will, which is the will of God through the Holy Spirit.
Now someone may ask: then why are there so many denominations and so many tenets of faith? This is a very good question.
This is because the Holy Spirit is not allowed into a person's entire area. Everyone wants to leave a part for HIMSELF. That which suits him. This is due to demonic influence, among other things. About 90% Christians are under demonic influence, but the god of this world blinds their minds. Hence the many intellectual births and not of the Spirit. Hence the rejection of Paul etc.
Proof? Just go to a release session in Krotoszyn to see how many Christians are under the influence of demons. You will hear screaming and moaning, which are manifestations of demons in CHRISTIANS.
There was no 90% in Krotoszyn, but this is in my estimation due to the fact that there are no online Christians there....
One believes it's okay to onanize, another believes it's okay to listen to hip hop every day, and others are convinced it's okay to have sex during menstruation.
However, God said:
” Be saints, for I am holy." 1 P
I know a Christian woman who once said to her pastor, "Pastor, I'd like to be like Anne." This Anne (name changed) impressed this Christian woman because of certain fruits of the Spirit.
Even on the earthly plane, we want to be as good at something as the person next to us. The young mechanic, wants to be like his senior colleague. In biblical cognition, which is very evident on this blog, all you have to do is tap out something on your keyboard to have an opinion. New readers take every opinion seriously. Recently, someone wrote that he could onanize himself. A brother who was released from this during a release session could write how demons go gangbusters along with the demon of onanism....
Personally, I look up to people better than me. This brings me closer to God. Of course our only Lord and teacher is Jesus Christ, but for now we live on earth and have points of reference.
So if these people who have their own opinions, not necessarily good and in line with the Bible, have this point of view on such matters, how about others such as the Sabbath or the ban on eating pork?
On this blog, the non pork eaters and Sabbath celebrators are Lenka, Robert and Wojtuś. You can see their fruits in real life and on the internet. God bless them all.
Let's say they are wrong, and that means their Holy Spirit is leading them wrong and you are leading them right.
On the other hand, why such interest in a blog, of a man who is wrong about the Sabbath, meat, and other things?
What spirit leads him?
The truth is that everyone chooses for themselves what is attractive to them. Not what is consistent with the Bible, but what "suits me."
If anyone doesn't understand me, I recommend a great lecture on sanctification:
I myself have also somehow gone over a year without eating pork 🙂 and not out of fear of God's wrath, but out of a desire to show Him respect and love for Him 😉 Although God is quite serious about this issue in this passage: "Those who sanctify themselves and purify themselves in the gardens, the middle going after one; who eat swine, filth, and mice; these shall be exterminated together, says the GREAT ONE." (Isaiah 66:17) it is not fear that drives me, but the desire to do His will.
And thanks to that I learned the taste of many other very tasty foods that God created for us to eat. Pig, unfortunately, he didn't create for food 😉 It's a very toxic and unhealthy meat.
I don't know if that's the only reason God separated certain things as not fit to eat, but if He did, then I just trust Him because He doesn't do or say anything without a reason.
If our manager said, "Don't touch those documents," we probably wouldn't even think about doing anything about them. After all, he is our supervisor.
On the other hand, if God says something there is immediately a whisper of Satan "did God really say that?" 🙂
We feel more respect and fear before man than before God 🙁
Immediately there will be a sprinkling of "it's not what goes into the mouth that makes a person unclean" comments, but based on that statement, can I eat poisonous mushrooms, glass, carrion? 🙂 No. This is about foods. And pig food is not food... 😉
Noah let in 7 pairs of clean animals and one pair of unclean animals each, that's already indicative of something too 🙂 Same when the Lord Jesus drove demons into pigs, to me that's a clear signal 🙂
Of course. God doesn't say something and lead people down a certain path that He would change or remove in a moment 🙂
I wouldn't want to spend eternity with a God that I don't know at what point he will change his mind 😉
God is unchangeable and His law is good. It works for man's benefit and not against him 🙂
Since I gave my life to the Lord Jesus (2016), the first changes that have taken place in my life were the observance of the Sabbath and not eating pork. This has been so engraved on my heart that since then (which is about a year now) I have been observing the Sabbath every week (sometimes I make mistakes I'm only human), as well as adhering to NOT eating unclean....
And now yes - during this whole period I broke Shabbat 2 or 3 times fully consciously and deliberately, the effect of this was that it was very bad in my house... That's how bad it was in short.
But when I observe the Sabbath, I see many Blessings - and my concubine, who is not a newborn and does not follow the Lord Jesus, sees this.
The same goes for pork. We DON'T eat it because God's Word says so and we hold to it.
When Zdzisław visited me not long ago, I told him about this situation;
My girlfriend bought me Russian dumplings in a supermarket - I ate them, told her they were good and a day later she bought them for me again. And now this situation, the next day, Suddenly, I felt a nagging in my heart and a voice told me to read the package and as it turned out, on the label on the back of the ingredients was/is "pork fat". My vision is, did the Holy Spirit give the signal?
The same situation with a fish (I do not remember the name), I was eating it and a day later I suddenly felt disgust and loathing, so I decided to research the subject of this fish and it turned out in the LIGHT of God's Word that this species belongs to the CLEAN. Holy Spirit again? I believe that YES.
God is my witness that I am writing you the Truth of what it was as I experienced it and how it is....
My girlfriend NOT following the Lord RESPECTS God's commandments by following them and since she has been doing it herself she has had MANY blessings at home, work, family, etc. etc.
This is such a personal story from my life regarding Shabbat and pork, when my heart was changed from stony to fleshy, it was these two above that suddenly came into my life 🙂
Praise the Lord!!! 🙂 🙂
God has revealed a part of His Nature to us (the fullness of which we will only come to know through contact with Him, and I think soon), and it is an unchanging nature. Just as a person who listens to classical music gets tired when they have to listen to hip hop, so a God who has a Holy Nature will not approach someone who is in contact with what He has determined to be contaminated.
What about a concubine, living without marriage or with a divorced person is a sin. Interesting that you heard about Sabbath and pork but not about adultery. Probably the "gospel" was preached by Sabbatarians.
An advantage of not eating pork is slimness of the figure, its healthy proportions (a man is not fat and thus sluggish). The advantage of not eating pork is a slimmer figure and healthy proportions (a man is not fat and thus sluggish). And we can go on and on.
I wrote that the commandments are good. But grace is greater than works. Pollution of the flesh is not pollution of the heart. I lived to see the article, it's hard. I am sorry because you put me in such a light as if I were a demon led person just because I believe I am under the law of Christ and not the letter. The righteous by faith shall live.
Peter we saw each other recently and you were not wearing single thread clothing nor did I notice the so called "whips" but you are judging me.
However, I ask the Lord Jesus to forgive in my heart anyone who has judged me as unsaved. May it be so in Jesus' Name. I am sorry if I have done anything wrong to anyone on this blog and I also ask for forgiveness. Thank you for every moment we spent together but I think it would be better for us if our paths parted.
That is why I wrote without a login. Per constant reader, although it was you Emilia who wrote about the possibility of intercourse during stealing and not me. It came out from under your pen. I have not published any private content as some madmen do, still taking care of your poor login name.
If I wrote that onanism is ok, I see no reason to publish it. I respect everyone's privacy and only quote what is on the blog.
"Peter we saw each other not long ago and you weren't wearing single thread clothing nor did I notice the so-called 'whips' but you are judging me."
Emilia. I am not judging you, but your statement inconsistent with the Bible.
The Holy Spirit leads to good things. That's why people don't eat pork, and as far as I know, you neither checked to see if I had clothes made of mixed materials, nor do you know why there was such a prohibition.
From what I remember, to make the Israelites different from other tribes.
On the other hand, either way it is a good precept even in these times. Nowadays we have mixtures of cotton and nylon and it is not good either.
Emilia, I'm getting a lot of ksozt to run this blog. recently a reader wrote me like this:
"Hello Peter, I'm slowly realizing how tough a job you have running a blog and being exposed to people who claim to be Christians but exude such hostility that it's scary to log on and read ? Of course in their mind they mean well because they are only "preaching the Gospel""
This is one of the lesser costs of seeking and proclaiming the truth, though often painful.
I published your comment, not the email, to show that toddlers in the faith like YOU can be perceived as equal to the elderly.
I did not invent the concept of infancy:
"Like newborn babes, desire spiritual, unadulterated milk, that through it you may grow to salvation." 1 Peter 2.2
I remember how only about a year ago you lived almost in depression, not knowing on which side to stand on the conspiracy pages: the antipopes or the traditional understanding of the Bible in its entirety inspired by God.
I don't know where you came to the synthesis, but you should take stock and go after those who: helped you structure your faith principles, prayed for you, helped you. I'm not saying that these were people connected to this blog because I don't know that, but either we are wrong and the Spirit is leading us wrongly or someone else is wrong. You know the fruits of Lena, Robert and Wojtus, Peter Petros, Kosik.... They do not eat pork and they celebrate the Sabbath.
You see I, for example, don't look at other blogs, sites, and I have come to the principles of faith I currently follow on my own.
_________
To readers:
Anyone can read a blog, but we don't identify with everyone who writes as a group with similar biblical beliefs.
Becoming anti-Pavlovian always starts with Judaization.
Judaism was founded about five centuries before Christ, and Moses lived in the thirteenth century BC.
I, in turn, Emilka, wish you the guidance of the Holy Spirit, may He strengthen you and transform you into the likeness of the glory of God. The Holy Spirit has power and will surely make you grow in Him. Hold on to Jesus, for He is gracious, merciful and not inclined to anger 🙂 .
Ps. I am not going to boast here on this blog about what I am so good at and how God transforms me because it is not about boasting. But I believe that you, Emilka, have many good fruits coming from your faith in Jesus which nobody here knows about but God Himself.
Greetings in Christ 🙂 .
Praise Basia for the glory of Jesus.
Of course there is a part of Jesus in each of us, but the Law of God is above us all and this blog is concerned with truth. Hence the opportunity to confront your opinion with others based on the Bible.
Hence Basia you have abandoned the pernicious teachings rejecting Paul and are here with us. Praise God.
Hence, the fruits of the Spirit are mentioned in Galatians so that we may be guided by them in judging other fellow believers.
I will complete my thought. In writing to Emilka I had something else in mind. Namely, Holy Spirit transforms every person who believes in Lord Jesus. It is not for us to judge how many fruits someone produces. The fruits of the Spirit are God's merit and there are as many of them as God wills and in the time He wills. That is why the Lord Jesus says so:
And the other fell on good ground and brought forth a benefit, the one a HUNDRED, the other a SIXTY, and the other a THREE HUNDRED.
BG - Matthew13:8
And the man that heareth the word, and understandeth it, in the good ground sown, the same bringeth forth good: and he bringeth forth one HUNDRED, another SEVENTY, and another THREE HUNDRED.
BG - Matthew 13:23
It is not for us to judge to what extent God has transformed a person because we do not know how much He will add to him. It may be that he will surpass in fruitfulness many who have called themselves first .
It is also worth remembering that the reward is the same for the 100th, 60th or 30th.
That is why I wrote that God transforms me too, but there is no point in boasting because in God's eyes it can be a decimal benefit. Just because God transforms my heart doesn't mean that I don't happen to sin. Only God is sinless and Holy. Yes I am a sinner in my own eyes. I still see many imperfections in myself. It is only because of Jesus that I have hope that I will one day stand before God as a sinless man, and that is only because the Lord Jesus with His own blood has washed me from dirt and will allow me to put on the white robe by faith in Him.
Paul said:
"You have faith, have it before God," it is the Lord Jesus who knows the heart of every man. 🙂
A person who fiercely rejects, for various reasons, the Law of God separates himself from its power and above all its mercy, and thus appears to be at the mercy of evil spiritual forces of demonic origin.
Christian strives to fulfill the law of Allah as perfectly as possible, not out of fear of Him, but out of love for Him and his neighbor, thus becoming a better person 🙂 .
Sometimes you have to shake someone (even hard) to get them to come to their senses. Of course, this rule applies only to those not consciously deluded by Babylon, not her conscious servants.
I recommend a nice talk on the Church of the Way website titled Remember the Sabbath.
The issues discussed there are worth considering, especially since most of the arguments "for" and "against" have appeared here on the blog.
For anyone sincerely interested in the topic.
There are more Sabbath-keepers and non-Pork eaters reading your blog than you mentioned, Peter 🙂 I don't know.
right, and sorry for the omission, but the rest are hardly known to anyone and I don't recall them ad hoc either 😉 .
I say this in the context of Zdzisio, Mieszko, Wiktor, Asi, me and...others 🙂 There are some of us 'Judaizing ' as many would say 😉 .
Me too me too ! 😀 😉
I'm still learning with this Shabbat thing, but for example I try to do some cleaning, going shopping or other important things beforehand... it's worse with the pork, because as much as I manage not to eat pork per se, what's worse is that even in products I like I can still find pork fat :/ and sometimes something will be taken on impulse, because e.g. I or my parents on earth 🙂 don't have a specific reason to prepare dinner and we want to eat something. I or my parents on earth 🙂 don't have time to prepare dinner for a particular reason and we want to eat something... then sometimes, like in this situation, we take something ready-made and even looking to see if there are any flavor enhancers etc. in the ingredients, the same goes for jellies for cakes - the most widely available ones mostly contain pork gelatine in their ingredients :/ macabre...
There are many more "pork-borne" elements everywhere. Yesterday I saw an infographic on this topic and their thesis was that it is practically impossible not to have any contact with them. Well, unless one is a hermit.
There are quite a few poultry meats, turkey meats and the like. I myself at first had a hard time finding these types of meats without any added pork fats but you can and despite appearances there's quite a selection 😉 .
It's just like the Word of God. It's tainted with human doctrines in most places, but God leaves seeds where the pure water of His Word flows 🙂 .
And have these people (men) grown or are they going to grow peas or, for example, walk around in clothes sewn from one type of material?
No, but a beard is worth wearing, because as my uncle used to say "it's not why a man grows a beard to shave it off" 😉 .
Just a little off the question 🙂
A good joke but also a clever sidestepping of an important issue - which laws do we keep from ST?
If it is forbidden to eat pork, what about wearing clothes made of one kind of fleece? Can it be sinned against? Or is that not a sin? You so often quote Matthew 5:18, so I ask for a clear key as to what to observe and what not and why. For me, such selectivity is the creation of a new religion. May the Lord Jesus fill us with knowledge and love. I'm sorry if this is too harsh, but the matter is serious.
You ask what to observe, the answer is simple: , "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your spirit, and with all your mind, this is the greatest and first commandment. The second is similar to this: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments the whole Law and the Prophets are based." While not eating pork is a health concern, at least the example of dressing with one thread, not sowing the field with two kinds of grain, not shaving your sideburns were regulations typical of the Israelites and had to do with the times in which they lived. These rules, in my opinion, do not relate to morality and not following them does not make a person evil. Everything is explained in the Gospels by Jesus Christ.
Besides, it is the Holy Spirit who leads us. He does not lead anyone to peyaks or such materials, although I admit that I try to buy from one material, but it is so instinctively according to the Bible and rationally as to health, since most of the clothing is a mixture of buffalo wool with artificial nylon.
The general public of deluded neighbors (peaceable, of course 😉 ) treats Christians as harmless freaks who preach things they think have no basis in reality. And here we should thank God for freeing us from such demonic spiritual bondage and make every effort to shake off the intoxication of Babylon for as many people as possible.
Ps. And there's nothing to apologize for 🙂 .
"Anyone can read a blog, but we don't identify with everyone who writes as a group with similar biblical beliefs." -
That is why I continue to read it, while at the same time I do not identify with your beliefs on these matters. It is possible. I don't have a problem with someone saying that they read, say, E. I don't have a problem with someone saying that he reads, let's say, E. G. White, because for me it is completely obvious that I have to reject such teachings, and if someone does it - it's hard, he is allowed to do it. It took me some time to sort it out in my head, but I wanted to write something else - I wasn't going to say anything more on these subjects, but in Emilia's posts I see similar feelings to my own some time ago. In my opinion, Emila: it's a waste of time to think about what others here think about the law. Leave it.
Very important words: "...let each one be well assured of his own purpose" (Romans 14:10, UBG).
I have come to the conclusion that there needs to be a distance from the beliefs of others, and this is what I needed to understand in order to be able to return here in good conscience. So I don't care at all whether other readers think I am deluded or unsaved, or who they think I am, or what they think of me in light of the fact that I see things differently. And the other way - whether or not I think the likes of Peter are wrong about the Sabbath doesn't matter to anyone, because my opinion, which I keep to myself, doesn't matter. I am not teaching the Word. Plus I'm just a guest here, like Peter in the churches, so I'm not here to engage in a discussion about eating swine, because I don't come here as a quarrelsome person to get into annoying and idle discussions, but to translate something, or to add something interesting or constructive from myself. So I read and comment on what interests me, and I treat discussions and posts about the law, Sabbaths etc. as at least for me irrelevant and pointless. Deal with it - as the Yanks say.
If someone here judges someone for these things as unsaved, that's their problem. I don't even consider such statements. They are not worth it. And besides, after all, I have a strongly differing position with my own pastor on the issue of drinking alcohol, for example - we had a conversation once, acknowledged a difference in view on it, and don't go back to it at all. But if I had a really heated conversation with my own teacher about just any alcoholic beverage, let alone a difference of opinion in a melting pot of interpretations and beliefs such as this blog. This has to be endured by being strong in faith and - as far as it depends on me - putting these disagreements and the desire to emphasize the fact of their existence in my pocket (or even in the chute), being confirmed in my conviction as in the quote above, and moving on, not with the obstinacy of a maniac splitting hairs into four (contrary to the injunction of Titus 3:9), like a troublemaker looking for an opportunity to argue, suffering from some bizarre obsession with a particular topic. I can see how many here don't understand the meaning of this quote, but I love them in Christ anyway, and recognize them as saved brothers and sisters 🙂
Well, unless some people are too shocked by the statements of Detective, Lena, Wojtusio and the rest in these (obviously very important to them) matters and feel that they have parted ways. I also thought about burning that bridge, but I changed my mind and I think it was the whispers of the evil one. Barely a few years ago, when someone had an understanding different from mine, I simply considered him to be a fool and in my mind I despised such a person, but obviously it is not of God and I thank Him that in His wonderful Grace He is changing this in me.
Someone who has a diametrically opposed view on the subject of Law and Grace might want to cool off and read Romans 14 before he plans to leave here. Or if not, he might, like I did last year, take a break from the blog. Once he is firmly established in his convictions, he can return and walk unmoved and unwavering here and everywhere, learning to put up with those with different views and forgive them. This is what the Bible teaches me as well as my pastor, and I have seen deep meaning in it. For example, my pastor and I recently gave a warm welcome to people from the blog who were celebrating the Sabbath at our church, and no one stabbed them in the back, no backbiting, nothing... If someone crosses out a church like mine because the services are on Sunday, bacon is eaten, and people work on Saturday, then, in my opinion, he is acting stupidly and arrogantly, and I feel sorry for him, because such a haughty attitude is not taught in any truly divine community; the apostle writes about such a person:
"This one is puffed up and knows nothing, but has a morbid tendency to inquire and dispute about words, out of which envy, strife, malice, malicious suspicion are born. Perverse disputes of men of twisted mind, devoid of truth, who think that godliness is carnal gain. Guard against such." (1 Timothy 6:4-5, UBG). This is why I don't go to 119 Ministries or Michael Mazur's website, and why coming to a place like here I have no intention of even bringing up these contentious issues. It's futile and almost invariably counterproductive. Let everyone, especially you Emila, judge for yourself in your heart whether I am ranting now or not. However, he doesn't have to write to me about it, because it won't change anything. Better to pray for the guidance of the Holy Spirit, always advisable.
I would also like to paste these two quotes for everyone's consideration:
"Don't be overly righteous or overly wise. Why should you lead yourself to perdition?" (Ecclesiastes 7:16, UBG),
"So whoever thinks he is standing, let him be careful that he does not fall." (1 Corinthians 10:12, UBG).
I don't know about others, but I will stay. Peace to you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ!
WE form a fairly pluralistic community with a biblical worldview that is cemented by the gospel teachings of Jesus Christ as found in Scripture. And this we hold to.
Well and balanced written.
I approached this topic for the sake of new readers, so that they wouldn't see some kind of ecumenism, a blur.
The blog is for everyone and even a few enemies visit regularly, but let new readers know what the trend of our group is.
And whether someone celebrates the Sabbath or eats pigs is none of my business. I have written and will continue to write about the dangers, but there is no intention of getting into arguments, which is why I did not participate in the one about Peter Petros' Bible key.
God will judge everyone and judge us on a regular basis, and we are our own worst enemies to each other.
Fulfillment of the Law is God's blessings and disobedience of the Law is trouble.
People eat pigs and then ask for prayers for health in the churches.
I want to help people, not attack them. This blog has a mission to make people aware of the dangers and the conversion from sins.
"God will judge everyone and judge us on a regular basis, and we are our own worst enemies to each other" - amen. And we should want peace and as much unanimity as possible. That's what I wish for all of us. Maybe we will be closer to some and a little further to others, but we are a family that loves each other and prays for each other. Let us not let it be destroyed by the devil who stirs up strife and separation. May it be so in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Yes...as much unanimity as possible, because total unanimity is impossible
Or even "godliness" 🙂
Let Jesus lead us, because if we have one guide, we will all necessarily be going in one direction 😉 .
As for the Sabbath, Jesus said it is possible to do good on the Sabbath and "The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath. Therefore the Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath. Maybe you should not work on Saturdays for a living or in any way, but if even for a living without being greedy or working to help others, to create, to help with work, etc., is that a sin?I do not know, I am not sure just like eating pork, it is rather not a sin (probably) but it is an indication for health reasons not to do it, as well as the Sabbath to rest better because it is simply beneficial for the spirit of man and the body but this is just my thoughts, maybe the Holy Spirit will convince, tell me, you how to do
What do you think, John, is it fair for someone to be aware of the prohibition against eating beef and to know full well the harm of eating it, and then to fall ill in order to pray for it?
Suppose I like shrimp, and I did, I know they are forbidden according to the Bible, but I eat these vacuum cleaners of the sea. Can I ask God to bless me with health? I can, but will God listen to me?
The question is: why are so many Christians sick? Of course not all of them from pork, but it is a common problem, as Paul wrote about:
1 Corinthians 11
"Besides, there must even be divisions among you, that it may come to light which among you are the true Christians. (20) Ye therefore, when ye are assembled in the church, do not properly partake of the Lord's Supper; (21) for each one sets about immediately to eat his own supper, and the result is that one is hungry and the other drunk. (22) Have ye no houses to eat and to drink? Or do you despise the church of God, and bear those who have nothing? What shall I say to you? Shall I commend you? No, for this I do not commend you. (23) For I have taken from the Lord that which I delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus on the night on which he was delivered took bread, (24) and having given thanks, broke it and said: Take, eat; this is my body given up for you; this do in remembrance of me. (25) Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new covenant in my blood: do this, as often as ye drink it, in remembrance of me. (26) For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink of this cup, ye proclaim the Lord's death, until he come. (27) Therefore whosoever shall eat of the bread and drink of the cup of the Lord unworthily shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. (28) Let a man therefore test himself, and so let him eat of this bread and drink of this cup. (29) For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, not distinguishing the body of the Lord, his own judgment shall he eat and drink. (30) Therefore there are many sick and weak among you, and not a few have fallen asleep.”
Do I want to do wrong to anyone? We do not admonish anyone at the meetings, and just as God loves everyone, so do I. Love is based, among other things, on truth.
that's why in my above comment I wasn't stating anything just basically asking 🙂 have a peaceful weekend
Ez 20:25 I also gave them commandments that were not good, and laws by which they could not keep life....
Jer 31:31-34 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah. Not the covenant that I made with their fathers on the day that I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt, which covenant they broke, though I was their Lord, says the LORD; but this covenant will I make with the house of Israel after those days, says the LORD: I will put my law within them and write it on their hearts. I will be their God, and they shall be my people. And they shall no longer teach one another, saying, Know the Lord! For they shall all know me, from the youngest to the oldest of them, says the LORD, for I will forgive their trespasses, and their sins I will never mention.
Luke 16:16 Until the time of John there was the law and the prophets, since then the kingdom of God has been preached and everyone is breaking into it violently.
John 15:10 If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father's commandments and abide in his love.
Rom 8:2 For the law of the Spirit, which gives life in Christ Jesus, has set you free from the law of sin and death.
Eph. 2:15 He abolished the law of commandments and regulations, that by making peace He might create in Himself of the two one new man.
2 Cor. 3:4-8 That we may be ministers of the new covenant, not of the letter but of the spirit, for the letter kills but the spirit brings life.
1 John. 3:23-24 And this is his commandment, that we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he has commanded us. And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in God, and God in him; and by this Spirit which he hath given us we know that he dwelleth in us.
lucas,
BT translates in Ez 20.25-I let it go.
I can never get a CLUE from you guys,
whereby you reject the things of the Mosaic Law (613 commandments and prohibitions) which you leave behind.
Because I see chaos and selectivity.
Maybe someone will provide.
According to Scripture, it's either the entire Law of Moses or
Heb 7.11
If, therefore, perfection was attained by the Levitical priesthood, for the people received the LAW based upon it,
then why was there a need to establish yet another Melchizedek-like priest,
and not like Aaron?
12 For with the change of the priesthood must also come a CHANGE of the Law.
18 The PREVIOUS LAW is therefore removed because of its WEAKNESS and uselessness.
19 The law did NOT give anything complete perfection,
But it was to introduce the ONLY better hope by which we draw near to God.
Acts 15.10 Why, then, do you now put God to the test by placing on His disciples a YARN which neither our fathers nor we ourselves had the strength to bear.
The disciples are Gentiles HAVING the Holy Spirit.
8 God, who knows the hearts, has testified in their favor, giving them the Holy Spirit just as he has given us.3
