I took my first Aramaic class yesterday. I was struck by the sheer amount of time the language has existed, but also by the sheer number of dialects, some of which are still alive...and by the fact that arameisms can be found literally everywhere, in the Greek alphabet, in the very word alphabet...
I am even more strongly moved by the language of the Lord❤ since yesterday.
But Eve, Aramaic is not the language of our Lord, it is the language of Babylon, the lord of this world. Our Lord's language is Paleo-Hebrew, which was abandoned after the Babylonian captivity.
I am at the beginning of the road,my knowledge is too small for discussion.
All I know is that the language is alive, that Aramaic comes from a proto-Semitic group and dates back to the 12th century B.C., that it was a common language at the time of the 2nd temple, that Jesus taught in this language, that he recited psalm 22 on the cross in this language and that Daniel's prophecies about Jesus in BH are written in this language. For me it is enough to know and love this language, because it is the language that my Lord used while He was on earth.

I would like to ask you immensely to pray for my daughter. She is 7 years old and she got sick with pneumonia. I didn't agree to hospital treatment because we have already had unpleasant experiences.
She is being treated for the second day with injections but I am very scared because I don't see the expected improvement in her.
The only hope in our Lord God the Father.
Please pray for Justynka to get better.

I will also pray. I myself, at the age of 3-4, fell ill with this disease, from which probably the most children die at the age of 4. It is said that there is no other disease which kills so many small children. My parents drove with me all over Lublin, to all the hospitals, doctors - no one could tell what was wrong with me, and my condition was getting worse every day. Finally my parents got in touch with some doctor, who was the last resort. My father carried me to him in his arms in the manner of a baby. I looked like death, my legs were hanging inert and so was my head, it looked like my father was carrying a corpse. The doctor, shaking his head, said that it was pneumonia and that if we had arrived an hour or two later I would have been dead, there was no contact with me. After the x-ray it turned out that I had as many non-infected lungs as a pack of lighters, the rest was all gone. An elderly doctor said that as she had worked in hospital almost all her life, she had never seen such a case with her own eyes, only in textbooks teaching the profession, where such a severe case of pneumonia occurs once in a million... I will pray.
I was only born there. I lived outside Lublin, then near Pulawy, and now for more than half of my life in Radom 🙂 whole family in Lublin region. Great-grandfather was fighting in Lublin Region in partisanship, most probably with Zapora or Uskoka 🙂 .
