Truth in the end times. Biblical Christians.

Biblical Christians. THE TRUTH FOR THE FOLLOWERS OF JESUS CHRIST "Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."

What is the Church? True meaning.

For the most part, we former Catholics associate the Church with building. When they say "I go to church," most have a building in mind. A building that Catholics see as a sacred place. As soon as you walk through the doors of a Catholic church, right at the entrance, you have what is called holy water. We have been led to believe, while still Catholic, that this water actually has the properties of holy water. If it did, people would actually be holy. But it's not, and this water has no positive properties, and knowing the occult history of the church as an institution and its fruits, I might even suspect that it has demonic properties to keep people in their sins.

Is actually the church as a building a sacred place?

We go to the source:

"God who created the world and everything in it, He who is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples built by human hands 25 and does not take service from human hands, as if he needed anything, for he himself gives life and breath and everything to everyone" Acts 17

So it is an obvious fact that God does not live in any building.

What else is "church" as commonly understood?

The Roman Church is the same institution like the UN, NATO, etc. global organizations. The Church of Rome has its assets, accountants, real estate, companies, etc.

The last meaning of the word "church" is community and this is the closest to the truth meaning, unfortunately little known to Catholics, of which I was one.

Where did the word church come from?

The New Testament as we know it was written in Greek.

The Old Testament was written in Hebrew. Some short parts of the books of Ezra and Daniel are written in Aramaic. Only after the resurrection of the Lord Jesus were the books and letters of the New Testament written down. They were written in Greek because that language was widely spoken at that time.*

Greek was the main language of the Roman Empire, so several other Greek versions of the Old Testament were also written in the first centuries of Christianity.*

The word ecclesia has three meanings in the New Testament: the universal church (1 Cor. 10:32; 12:28; Phil. 3:6); the local church or congregation (Rom. 16:1; 1 Cor. 1:2; Gal. 1:2); the assembly of believers gathered for worship (1 Cor. 11:18; 14:19.23).*

There is no mention of a building in any of these meanings, and not because Christianity was just growing in strength, since the first church treated as a building was built in c. 300 AD.

Domus ecclesiae (Latin: house of assembly) (Greek: oίκος εκκλησίας) a term for a private house, adapted for Christian worship, in which the early Christians gathered before 313

By the way, it was destroyed only recently by the CIA's creation, ISIS.

So it was a private home, tailored for Christians. A modest, small house.

Back to the correct understanding of the church as an ecclesia, or assembly of believers.

Ecclesia was never a term for a building, but always referred to living beings, men and women, people who are God's property. The church in the New Testament is primarily a community subject to God, "God's church" (1 Corinthians 1:2; 2 Corinthians 1:1; Galatians 1:13; 1 Thessalonians 2:14; 1 Timothy 3:5.15), which comes from Him and belongs to Him. The New Testament Church is also called the Church of Christ, the body of Christ (Col 1:24), of which Christ Himself is the head (Eph 5:23-24)

The church in its essence - ecclesia is a body composed of people gathered not by their own choice, but because of God's callA gathering of those whom God has called to himself, people gathered not to share their insights but to listen to the voice of their Lord.

The Bible is clear about where God is:

" For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I among them." Matthew 18

So even our not only reunions are congregation (ecclesia), But in the sense of an ecclesia as a community, this blog is a gathering of followers of Jesus. Of course, there are also some people who do not fully agree with the direction, so to speak, of the creator of the church. For example, let's say that the blog is read by about 20 people who deny Paul. So you could say that people from another church are observing the discussions in our church.

By the way, it is interesting to see the law on assemblies as if under the NWO (Great Oppression):

Just as there were many churches in the days of the early Christians, so it is now. The Lord Jesus gave letters to 7 churches in the apocalypse. Each of them was different.

It says a lot that The Lord Jesus will come for His Church...seize him. The Lord Jesus will come for His Church, His Bride. The word "rapture" as used here means: to take away. When will the rapture take place? It will be when the Body of Christ is completed, when the number of the believers.

Will the Lord Jesus come for the building? NO.

The deferential Roman church, usurped these words of Jesus in their lie, to build their church:

"You are Peter [i.e., the Rock], and on this Rock I will build My Church, and the gates of hell will not prevail against it" (Matthew 16:18)

The term rock is used in reference to God, but never to man:

- Deuteronomy 32:4 "...He is the rock !"

- Isaiah 44:8 "(...) Do not be afraid or dismayed! Have I not prophesied from of old and declared? You are my witnesses: is there any God besides me? or another Rock? - I don't know one! (...)"

- Romans 9:33 "(...) as it is written: Behold, I lay in Zion a stone of images and rock of scornand whoever believes in him will not be put to shame..."

Peter himself regarded by the Roman church as the rock as the foundation of their church spoke:

(6) For in Scripture it is (the phrase): "Behold, I lay on Zion stone cornerstone, chosen, precious, and he who believes in it will not be ashamed!" (7)Glory to you, therefore, believers! And for unbelievers this "Stone, which the builders rejected, has become the foundation of a cornerstone. (8) and "Stumbling stone and the rock (Petra) of depravity". They who disobey the word stumble; this is their fate." 1 Peter 2

The church is a community of faith in Jesus Christ. Not in the mother of God. The church is not a building. I, you, we are the church. If anyone claims otherwise, let them write in the comments based on the Bible.

It is also worth noting something peculiar to the Church of Jesus that is not found in the Roman church. Well, here we have with us RELATIONSHIPS. So did the apostles. In the Roman church, when we walk into a building called a church, we stand next to people with whom we have no relationship.

"The body of Christ" is not all mankind, but the community of saints, a gathering of those who love Him and treat His Word with reverence.

  1. After all, according to Catholics, their church is the only true community and the rest are traitors and dissenters....

    1. The body or bride of Christ are those who believe in Him and WATCH His word.

  2. Petros - pebble
    Petra - the rock

petros in the NT is used only in relation to Peter
Petra in the NT used only in relation to the Lord Jesus.

    it should be like this

"Simon Peter answered, Thou art the Messiah, the Son of the living God. (17) At this Jesus said to him: Blessed art thou, Simon son of Jonah: for flesh and blood hath not revealed this unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. (18) I say also unto thee, Thou art Peter [i.e., the Stone], and upon this Rock [i.e., the Messiah] I will build my Church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. (19) And to thee will I give the keys of the kingdom of heaven: whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven."

Peter was given the keys to the kingdom of heaven for correctly identifying the Messiah and believing in Him. By the way petros is also translated as building material.

    1. oh that's right, bravo, you made the thread with petros

  3. Speaking of holy water, there is a very interesting video to watch, although non-Christian, but showing that, among other things, prayer can actually affect water https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p7wT8W1Qr_8 I'm skeptical but the movie is quite interesting.

  4. I would ask for prayer for my mom who is having problems with sciatica. Ask God for Martin's mom, God will know who it is about.

    1. Maybe we should pray to expose the truths the Vatican is hiding or to bring this matter to expose the harlot.

    2. And who reads the pubet. It's the same as if I were to watch tvnędz. I mean, I don't watch the rest either.

  5. And it seems to me that Christ saying "Thou art Peter" at this point simply meant the name of the apostle, which has a certain meaning as well as many other biblical names in Greek, Hebrew.
Εμμανουηλ- Emmanuel; Ο Θεός μαζί μας; God with us
Ηλίας - Elijah; Ηλί-Γιαχ=Θεός μου είναι ο Γιαχβέ, my God is Yahweh
Μιχαηλ-Michael; Ομοιος με τον Θεό; who is like God. etc...
It seems to me that the coincidence of Petros- petra in this sentence is quite coincidental (although the apostle was given the name Πετρος because of e.g. the importance he will have for the followers of Christ etc.).
Πέτρα regarding the cornerstone or Christ is obvious. The word petra refers to our Savior, it is a metaphor for the Lord.

Jesus asked them: And who do ye say that I am? Simon Peter answered, You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God. At this Jesus said to him: Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven. I say to you also: You are Peter [i.e., the Rock], and on this Rock I will build My Church, and the gates of hell will not prevail against it. And to you I will give the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Then He strictly forbade the disciples not to tell anyone that He is the Messiah
Does the passage, "Who do you say that I am? Simon Peter answered, You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God" refers to Petros as a name or petros as a stone? Did the stone answer the Lord? Do we have a confession of the stone?
This coincidence in nomenclature, as usual, has been slyly exploited by the NCC to confuse people and build up the power of the πορνη; the Uncommon.

  6. In this passage the meaning of the word Peter has no.... meaning:) Translating this dignified, powerful name here only sows confusion:)

  7. Why isn't the apostle Peter the rock on which Christ has (already) built His church and the gates of hell will not prevail against it?
And that's because the only institution we know called "The See of Peter" has long been the abode of demons!
"He fell, Great Babylon fell, and became a habitation of demons and a refuge of every unclean spirit and a refuge of unclean and foul fowl."
    Therefore
"Come out of him, my people..." Rev. 18

  8. Don't you see that as Polish Catholics we have risen from the brigandage of various invaders in history, or maybe you are weak and did not pass the test of God by being a Catholic, it is a difficult faith that is being destroyed from within and the truth is that much evil is happening there, but we just believe in this fundamental church of Peter Christ is not tainted because it is a test of the evil in the Catholic church also, you have doubted, and in addition you are adding to it by spreading such content.Have you not thought that God is grieved to lose another lamb through your self-interpretation of the Bible, believe in this Catholic church, the one of Christ, believe in its teachings and it will calm you down, you will not need to look for other religions, just tell him your heart, your life and you will understand.

  9. The word ecclesia in the literal Greek is "called out" (from the world, from life in the world, from houses). Called out to do God's will, to glorify God, and this is what the word means, there is no continuation, i.e., called out to gather, fellowship, communion. In the original there is neither the word nor the term "church", it is always the term "eklesis" and it means calling as Jesus called his disciples to follow him and not to gather and form communities.
God seeks true worshippers in spirit and truth(John 3.20-24).
As for Peter, he is not a rock, for he is referred to by the word "petros", which signifies a fragment of rock, while the word "petra" signifies a rock, which is our Lord Jesus Christ.
    Greetings.

    1. wow, interesting knowledge. 🙂
Do you know Greek or ancient Greek?

    2. Megan is right, the community is built not on Peter but on the revelation he received from the Father. The body is to obey the head, which is the Son of God Jesus

  10. If the Catholic religion were based only on a "house" church, it would quickly cease to exist. There would have been self-interpretations and soon schisms. It is good that the Church as an institution has been so powerful over the centuries because thanks to it and only thanks to it, the Latin civilisation arose to which we owe so much. A civilisation that has produced so many great men. It is enough to realise the rapid degradation of Europe which no longer counts the Church as an institution. We see its decline before our eyes. The Church, like any institution, makes mistakes, but can we naively believe that neighborhood communities interpreting Scripture for themselves will make fewer of them, that there will be no lust for power there, let's look at the self-proclaimed leaders of many modern communities that have gone astray.
The church as an institution is the sole guardian of tradition and faith.

    1. evil traditions because that's what he specializes in and he's not a guardian of any purity
